Athleta has POOR a system for exchanges.
I love the products from Athleta. However, their exchange system is pathetic. If you have rewards points applied to your order and you want to exchange for a different size, you have to go to their physical store or send back the order, wait TWO weeks before your rewards are applied back to your account so that when you order the correct size, they will be applied. That's a THREE week wait to just exchange for a different size. The supervisors don't even have any ability to speed up this process. Athleta really needs to catch up speed with its competing companies that offer much more realistic time frames for a SIMPLE exchange. Athleta products are awesome, but their system is archaic!

Shady business
Re: order 1WX2RB8 I am baffled by Athleta’s customer service- they are quite literally stealing money. I purchased a pair of brooklyn joggers- size four and a long skirt, xs… they sent me a size 6 and size s. Surely, you can return this? No- they blamed the incidence on me. Im not asking for a refund- just THE SIZES I ORDERED. They are saying their return policy does not allow for returns? Maybe send the right sizes then… dont get TWO sized wrong. Will be going to bbb

Won't return my gift card!
May 17, 2023 I ordered a pair of endless pants using a gift card. May 24, 2023 I received an email saying my order was awaiting cancellation. No other exclamation. I called customer service and they said the gift card would be emailed in 24 to 48 hours. When after a few days not receiving it, I called back and was told the same thing. I called 4 times and was told the same thing. After 28 days they finally let me talk to a manager and she said she would be handling it and would keep in touch. It is now June 14 and still no gift card returned. This is absolutely unbelievable. I have never dealt with a company like this. I doubt seriously that I will ever get my $100.00 gift card back.

Inoperable website
I couldn’t get into their website after trying several browsers. Then, when I finally got in, I tried to place an order but there were so many pop-up windows that their web-site wouldn’t let me place my order. This company is a complete waste of time. Don’t bother with it. They have some dumb marketing department who doesn’t understand that customers need to be able to browse and place an order. The marketing department is probably compensated on some ridiculous measure that totally obstructs the customer experience. I couldn’t order anything!! Even the phones wouldn’t answer.

I ordered two pairs of the Brooklyn…
I ordered two pairs of the Brooklyn pants, size 4Tall One pair fit great, the other tagged a 4T was too big yet 2 inches shorter. The tag said 4T and the label inside the waistband said 6! Very disappointing. I don't like shopping nor having to return things based on the company's mistakes. Consistent quality is what makes me want to shop with a brand. This time Athleta fell short. Customer service was pleasant and refunded me for the pants immediately.

Athleta did not publish my justified…
Athleta did not publish my justified very negative one star review of a badly designed dress. I have been a loyal customer for years. Censorship going on? They may be suppressing some of the negative reviews. Disappointing. I have come to prefer Lululemon for this and other reasons. They also still design clothing for slimmer figures. Athleta has been making larger and larger clothing leaving the slimmer clientele behind.

I love Athleta clothing but there’s some nonsense going on.
I love Athleta clothing, but I have a complaint about their practices. They don’t ship receipts with online orders so when i needed to return an item, and they ask for the receipt, I said they don’t send receipts with orders. And she said the BAG IT CAME IN IS THE RECEIPT! The dirty shipping bag? Who keeps those? They’re disgusting. If she meant the plastic bags the item comes in (inside the shipping bag) 1) they don’t always send those and 2) I don’t keep those laying around either! Aren’t they suffocation hazards for humans and pets?? Just put the receipt in the bag, Athleta. Geez how hard is that. It was an inconvenience for your employee.

UNACCEPTABLE WAIT TIME FOR REFUNDS
The amount of time it takes to get a refund is completely UNACCEPTABLE. I've reached out TWICE to customer service asking about the status of my refund that was received by them weeks ago and they just tell you to wait. This has happened with a previous order, too. Now I'm assuming my order will get lost in the shuffle of all the Christmas returns and I'll have to reach out to them YET AGAIN wondering where my refund is. Terrible and inconvenient! Also, they use a shipping company called UDS that oftentimes steals or misdelivers packages. Do I need anymore reasons to stop shopping at Athleta? I don't think so.

Jumping on the “woke” wagon
This really isn’t a store experience, just something I have noticed.., They have gone so woke, it’s just annoying because it’s not reality. Every catalog has mostly people of color and their stores are staffed with predominantly people of color. Now I wouldn’t normally care if they had done this all along, nor if they truly represented the population, but it’s just so damned obvious! It was not like this two years ago. I truly hate that they are pushing an agenda rather than selling clothing.

Horrible customer support
After I received an email like my visa card “looks like fraud to them” which is totally nonsense; I had to call them to verify my info and they switch me from one agent to another to verify my info again. Why? It was an annoying experience with an unprofessional customer team. I decided not to continue with this order and spend my $300 with Spanx. Much better experience!! Goodbye atleta, never again!

Would not order from Athleta again as…
Would not order from Athleta again as so many online services are better at other companies. I ordered a pair of sneakers (Saysh) from Athleta. Unfortunately had to return them. I am being told now to allow 15+5 business days for the refund. No where online is this specified that the processing will take that long and no other company that I order from has a 20 business day policy that I deal with. I order almost everything and with a refund policy like Athleta has, I will not order from them again.

Train your agents, Athleta.
I ordered a gift a year ago and so now I get catalogs in the mail. Called the number the catalog says to contact to opt out. Paper catalogs are useless and wasteful in many ways. I got forwarded around (customer service sent me to research?) and put on hold and the agents were very confused and asked if I was talking about a digital catalog? After 15 minutes of having the agent come back a few times telling me how confused she was, I gave up. I think I got off the list via a chat. Why aren't they training their people correctly, especially when not doing so makes it look like the company is not paying attention to growing global awareness of environment/climate issues and the contributions of the fashion industry?

The worst company to deal with when…
The worst company to deal with when returning items. It took them almost a month to receive a return DESPITE the fact that I shipped it to them via UPS on 12 May, they received on 14 May and did not process the return until 2 June. The refund has yet to hit my credit card account so now I have to dispute the charge with the credit card company. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I used to love athleta but the past…
I used to love athleta but the past couple years the quality has gone way down. It seems every time I order leggings they don't fit right and the material isn't stretching in the right places. I've ordered 2 identical leggings and the each fit completely different. I think they're too focused on things other than quality at this point.

I forgot to include the discount code…
I forgot to include the discount code (20%) when checking out and tried to contact customer support to get the discount applied. Experienced a complete electronic run around and noresponse from customer service or web support. The first response was "wrong department" and the link they sent me to the correct department was bogus and the link on Paypal details was non-functional. What a pain, I guess they needed the extra $40. Will not buy from them again. At this writing still have not recieved a response. The product has not shipped yet so my expectation is this request shouldn't be difficult to fulfill.
